“We do not remeber days, we remember moments. The richness of life lies in memories we have forgotten,” a quote by Cesare Pavese.

As the school year is coming to an end, the school will be taking all the seniors to their past elementary schools as a walk from their past till now as they will be graduating inhttps://ahsaquila.com/?p=4111&preview=true a few weeks.

“I think doing this is a cool idea because it gives memories of the days we were just little kids, I think it is a cute idea,” senior Briana Apodaca said.

Thefore, seniors will be wearing their caps and gowns during this visit, on this trip they may or may not run into teachers that they remember and pass by areas they use to hang around, it is all just a run through, one more moment with their class.

“I feel excited about going to visit our elementary and middle school as it is going to be like a walk down memory lane where we were all once so nervous about that first day of school.” Senior Verennice Martinez said.

Furthermore, this trip is to really take in the moment of how far they have come, all their accomplishments and to take in the fact that they went through all these years just to graduate and the time is coming to where they get to see that day.

“I am excited to go back to visit my middle school where I started pushing myself for my future to play college basketball, it all started there and now im finishing high school so it is great to look back and really take in the moment,” senior Hannah Cooper said.
